Long before there was Pug, a different kind of energy was generated. It offered the same message of hope and inspiration but in a different form. This is that earlier work.

Many years ago, while I was writing for a small newspaper out of Vermont, my family and friends would ask to read my new work. "Send me something new," they said, over and over again. So I did. Until it got a bit cumbersome. I was cutting and pasting material and not keeping track of who was sent what. I wasn't really good at attachments back then and as a result I'd get easily confused.

Then, with the help of a guy named Adam, I created a website specifically for my fans. It was called News From The Beach and consisted of the above work. Life took hold as it ofen does and the site slipped away from me. But lately, people have been asking for that old material. They're asking for a copy of this story or that poem. They want the stuff that moved them, that touched them, the stuff they kept close to their hearts all these years. So I thought I'd play around with it for a while, posting different pieces from time to time. If you've got a favorite, give a shout and I'll post it for you.
